My hubby enjoys this dish once in a while. He has always eaten this at a restaurant. Years ago, I did make this once at home, but it turned out really average. So, after that I never made it again.
As luck would have it, my new cook said he knew how to make it. I bought him the kheema and when ready, the dish looked and smelled great. However, I waited with great anxiety for my hubby to taste it. He relished it! Mission successful – 1 more non-vegetarian dish can be made at home.
With some leftover, I served it with an egg for breakfast the next day – perfect start to the day.
